Sign up protection stops you from being shot at and or searched. Any new accounts will be given 5 day protection. This is the same with revived accounts. During Sign up Protection, you cannot search other users either. Because of this, you cannot complete Operation 8 unless you pull yourself out of protection via the My Account page.
The following list will remove you from Sign Up Protection.
- Picking up any property
- Winning a Casino (Breaking the dealer)
- Having over $100,000,000
